Fishman developed undersaddle piezo pickups, onboard preamps, and impulse-response acoustic imaging that let guitarists, mandolinists, and violinists perform at rock-band volumes without losing natural body resonance. His Aura and Rare Earth pickup lines became stage standards.

The company expanded into bass pickups, PA-oriented solutions, and home-recording tools while maintaining a focus on transparent signal capture rather than heavy coloration. Fishman products appear on factory installs from major acoustic brands and in touring rigs worldwide.
